Sites are added to the top of the list when owners are notified they won an award. Some of these sites did not apply for an award. They're responsible for them and for their names. It was while trying to describe what was so special about them that I first used the words concerto, sonata and symphony. I do expect this page to become three, but these awards are intended to be very difficult to win, so I don't expect it soon.

A link check showed three award winners had disappeared. I removed them from the page, but not from my records. I hope they send me new page URLs. They were all exceptional websites or they wouldn't have made it to this list.
